STUDIO SLEW INC. PARTICIPANT TERMS OF SERVICE & SPACE POLICIES

By purchasing a ticket, registering for a course, or entering our facility, you knowingly and voluntarily agree to the following terms, cancellation frameworks, and community safety guidelines:

0. ELIGIBILITY Studio SLEW sessions involve professional life modeling and fine art instruction. By registering for a session, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. We do not provide services to minors.

1. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, ticket sales directly fund our daily programming, material provisions, and model compensation ledger. To ensure sustainable operations and give waitlisted artists a fair window to claim open easels, we enforce a strict scheduling timeline:

  • Cancellations (Refund Eligibility): You may cancel your session and receive a full digital refund up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled session start time. Cancellations made under 48 hours are non-refundable.

  • Rescheduling: You may change your ticket to any equivalent future session up to 24 hours prior to the session start time using the scheduling link in your confirmation email.

  • Late-Window Restraints: Within 24 hours or less of a session, tickets cannot be rescheduled, transferred, or refunded under any circumstances. We deeply appreciate your compliance and understanding, which allows us to keep our fine art programming accessible to all.

2. STRICT PHOTOGRAPHY & PHONE BOUNDARIES (THE NO-PHONE POLICY)

  • Active Stand Rules: To protect the physical vulnerability and absolute privacy of our life models, mobile phones, cameras, and recording devices of any kind must be put away completely (either face-down or inside a personal bag) whenever a model is actively on the stand or posing.

  • Artwork Photography: Participants are permitted to take photographs of their own physical drawings or paintings only. These photographs may only be taken during designated break sequences or after a session has formally concluded when the model is completely off the stand and wrapped up. The model must be entirely absent from the frame or background of any photograph.

  • Identity Protection: Sharing the personal identity, real name, or untagged social media handles of any studio model is strictly prohibited unless the model has explicitly written their handle on the physical studio whiteboard for that specific session.

3. SPACE DECORUM AND STAFF COMPLIANCE

  • The Authority of the Lead: Every session is hosted and governed by a designated Studio Session Leader. Participants agree to comply immediately with all logistical and structural directions made by studio staff or session leaders.

  • Zero-Tolerance Misconduct: Studio SLEW maintains a strict professional boundary between attendees and models. Inappropriate personal comments, physical contact, unapproved approaches toward the model stand, or defensive/disruptive behavior will result in an immediate revocation of space access. Staff retains the absolute right to terminate a booking in real-time and execute an immediate eviction without a refund.

4. HOSPITALITY, ACCESSIBILITY, AND GENERAL LIABILITY

  • Physical Accommodations: We operate as a supportive community environment. If you have back limitations, physical ailments, or require seating/easel layout adjustments, please notify the Session Leader prior to the start of poses so we may comfortably optimize your station with chairs or altered horse layouts. Tea, water, and materials corner supplies are fully accessible during breaks.

  • Waiver of Liability: The participant acknowledges that fine art environments involve raw media (charcoal, graphite, fixatives). The participant agrees that Studio SLEW Inc. shall not be held liable for stained clothing, personal property damage, or standard operational accidents occurring under our roof.

  • Account Revocation: Studio SLEW Inc. reserves the absolute right to cancel future bookings, block profiles within our electronic booking portal, and bar entry to any individual, with or without cause, to preserve the core safety and focus of our community.
