What is your cancellation policy?
Studio SLEW is a non-profit that relies on sold-out classes to keep art education affordable. Refunds are available until 48 hours before class. You can reschedule via your original booking email up to 24 hours in advance. If you do not reschedule within that window, your ticket will be treated as a donation to the studio to help cover the cost of the empty seat.
Can anyone take a class?
Yes. Any skill level is welcome. Beginners, hobbyists, and professionals are all encouraged to join. Our sessions are designed for every type of artist to learn, create, and have fun.
Do you provide materials?
Yes. We provide all the materials you need. Our program is designed so you can simply show up and create. You are welcome to bring your own supplies if you prefer, but nothing is required.
Can I take photos and videos?
Yes, but with some guidelines. During live model sessions, phones should stay away while the model is posing. During breaks, you are welcome to take photos of your work and the studio, and you can post them on social media. Please tag @studioslew and any models when sharing!
Can I tip the models?
Yes. Each model will have their information available, including their Instagram and Venmo. We also keep a tip jar in the studio. Our models are truly talented and professional, and tips are always welcome and appreciated.
How can I get involved?
We are always looking for volunteers, collaborators, and supporters who share our mission. Studio SLEW is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in New York City. We partner with colleges, universities, and brands to expand our impact and make our programs even better for participants.
